Judges that oversee divorce and family law matters do not handle cases in other areas of law. Why? Because divorce and family law is uniquely complex and requires in depth knowledge, experience and abilities to handle very personal high conflict matters. It’s simply not possible for a lawyer to gain the required depth in divorce and family law while also diverting their attention to other areas of law. This area is the “brain surgery” of law. You certainly would not want a general family doctor to perform brain surgery.
Our entire firm and every lawyer in it exclusively dedicates their entire practice and time to divorce and family law. This is all we do and what each of us chose to do after exploring many areas of law. This is not a job for us, it’s our calling.
